Like others we found the Maestranza conveniently located. The room lacked character, was on the small side and like someone else has noted our room had an odd smell.

We almost asked to change but we were only there one night and not in it much. The parking below was very convenient and there was good breakfast.

We paid considerably more than the average price showing on this site so didn't feel it was particularly good value. It cost us more than a much larger and more pleasant room in Cordoba for example.

Hotel Maestranza is ideally located in the main street, but it was not at all noisy - our window overlooked the bullring ... plus it was only 100 metres from the Gorge and 50 metres from main shopping Mall . . . a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Our room was excellent - very clean and comfortable, great beds and pillows and a big deep bath. The breakfast (6 euros each ) was a buffet ... which was excellent.
We thought it was good value and we would definately stay here again ! The only fault we could find was the lack of smiles from the girls on reception, but otherwise we thought everything was quite adequate. One staff member on reception even helped us with information on a local bus to Grazalema, a gorgeous white village half hour away.

Parking handled by staff for 9 euros per night underneath.

Reception most friendly. Breakfast quite adequate in choice & quality however check lids otherwise you may miss hot items of eggs & bacon.
Room well furnished though crowded however not a problem.

Laundry returned within few hours on same day.
Would happily stay again.

This hotel was in a perfect location. Just opposite the bullring and within walking distance of everything.
We had our car parked for us and the staff were very helpful.
Our room was clean and ok but no view and had no character.
This didn't bother us as we were out sightseeing most of the time.
The breakfast was fine and adequate.
We would recommend this hotel if you need a perfect location and plan not to stay in your room much.
The car park at the hotel costs 9 euros per night. It is a lot more expensive to park at the other car parks. 14 euros a night at one close by.
I did my emails at the hotel and it cost me 1 euro for half an hour.
