This is an excellent DC hotel with great weekend rates. The only drawback, and a minor one, is that it is a seven block walk to the nearest Orange Line Metro station (Farragut West) and four blocks to the nearest Red Line Station (Dupont Circle). We stayed here the night of the 4th of July. Our room had a really nice layout. You enter into a sitting area with a couch, chair, desk, dresser, and a flat-screen TV. You then pass through an area with a kitchen on one side and the bathroom on the other. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, full stove and oven, dishwasher and a sink. At the window end of the room you have the bed with two very large closets flanking another TV. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, but maintained the temperature well. I'm fussy about my showers, and this was a great one with a high nozzle (I'm 6 ft tall) and plenty of pressure. This hotel would be great for a long term stay. Due to our limited stay, we didn't explore the hotel's ammenities, bar or restaurant. We did have breakfast at Cosi, just down the block on M Street. For a tasty, inexpensive breakfast, this is a winner. Parking is typically expensive for DC, it was $27 plus tax through the valet, which was the only method available on a holiday. We found the staff to be extremely helpful throughout our stay.
Bottom line, we would stay here again, especially long term since the kitchen is so nice.
