I had called several weeks prior to our trip to confirm our reservation and requested a "park view" room. I was told it would cost extra, but it didn't matter, there weren't any of those still available. When we arrived at 10:40 pm, check-in was a breeze AND we got a park view room!

As others have said, the beds are extremely comfortable. I found the rooms to be clean. We heard noise a few times from kids running up and down the halls, but we never heard noise from the other rooms.

I had brought breakfast foods with us, but bought milk from the Pizza Hut. Phew, it was expensive! The pools was clean and very enjoyable.

We didn't need to leave the hotel until mid-afternoon and the front desk said I could check out an our late for no charge. I was afraid of what would happen if we weren't back on time, so I chose to check out in the morning before heading to the park. It was no problem to store our luggage in their store room and they put my laptop in the security office. When we returned to the hotel to retrieve our bags, someone was there quickly and they also called a cab for us.

I didn't need to deal with the staff much, but when I did, they were always more than friendly and accommodating. I would stay at this hotel again. The walk to Disneyland was easy.

I don't know when we will return to Disneyland, but I would stay at this hotel again.

The hotel itself is one of the furthest from the entrance of Disneyland in a row of hotels and motels, but it is one of the most impressive. I find it worth the little bit of extra walking; everything was clean and well stocked, the beds are out of this world comfortable and the wireless internet is pretty reliable. The staff was friendly, when we seldom had a reason to bother them. The only thing that could have been considered inconvenient was the maintenance being performed on the elevators, but even that wasn't enough to bring the quality of our stay down. Great hotel.

We stayed here for a 3 day visit to Disney Resort. The location couldn't have been better, just 5 minutes walk away!. The hotel is clean and tidy in all areas. There's a small outdoor pool, shop and games room plus a pizza hut takeaway and cafe serving breakfasts, sanwdwiches, fruit, drinks etc. Our room was a good size with king size bed and sofa bed for the kids. The bathroom was small but functional. The rooms were a bit noisy but nothing too bad.

we were originally booked into a kitchen family suite at the Tropicana but the room was just not acceptable. Very dirty rugs, stark patio, worn linens, small very hard beds. we walked down to the fairfield and asked them to help us and we were given a great family suite, themed for Pirates of the Caribbean, no kitchen but a fridge and great restaurant on 3rd floor, super clean, nice personal touches from housekeeping, lovely lemon/lemon ice water in the lobby, super pool. They saved our holiday! And, cheaper than the tropicana :)
