“Great time at the Fairfield”

Fairfield Inn Anaheim Disneyland

4 of 5 stars
Denver, Colorado
May 10, 2008

My family and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn Anaheim Disneyland for about 5 days. The front desk staff was very pleasant. The rooms were older, but super clean. Anything that we needed we got very quickly. Our daughter enjoyed the pool while we enjoyed the hot tub. The hot tub could be a little bigger, four adults fit in it nicely, but more was a crowd. Our daughter slept on the pull out couch and said that it was very comfortable. I would stay at the Fairfield Inn Anaheim Disneyland again if we went back to Anaheim.

“Good for a night, not exactly a resort”

We stayed here with a family group in three rooms in April 2008. The hotel is ok for a night or two. It was just not a luxury hotel. The rooms are not that expensive and the staff was accomodating. The downside is that it is a bit worn and does not have that many amenities. The room we stayed in was bascially clean - just kinda old and tired. Our room did face the highway side of the hotel which was very loud. THe door to our room did not shut properly either. It left a gap between the door and its frame. If I were to stay there ever again I would request a room that faces the area above the main entrance. It remined me of the hotels that we've stayed in on the side of I-95 while driving from our home in CT to FLA. Just a place to lay our head for the night. The balcony was kinda scarry walking on (we were on the 8th floor) and it is narrow and a long way down with a flimsy railing that I dont think was up to code. THe walk to the Disney gates is a couple of long blocks too. I had hoped it was closer - it was really hard to make it back to the room after a long day with kids who were exhausted. The pool looked ok although small. We did not use it as the weather was not warm enough for me - but I did see a bunch of kids in it that looked like they were having a good time. Next time I will likely stay at one of the Disney hotels for the extra money - it is vacation after all. They have many more amenities and It would avoid having to cross the 4 lane highway we needed to get across each day to reach the park. If you are looking for a bargin this is your place - if you are looking for a great nice luxury hotel - stay elsewhere. Good for a night or two at most.

“Wonderful!”

Called the Fairfield directly and booked April 10 -15. This was a birthday gift for my 10yo grandson and his dad. The reservation dept. accomodated 3rd party payment on my credit card. It was reassuring that their policy of cancellation is up until 6 PM on the day of arrival, as it happened that this was the week of AA horrific cancellations of flights. But luckily they made it and my son and grandson got the queens with the fireworks everynight as originally requested, loved the convenience of the short walk to the entrance and the pizza hut right in the building. "The best day of his life" quote from my grandson!!!!!!

“The best on the block!”

Fairfield Inn Anaheim Disneyland

My family (2 adults , 3 daughters aged 4, 9 & 10) stayed here for the whole 2 weeks of our holiday and after the stress of having to pick a hotel from the other side of the world, the minute we pulled up at the front door all worries just disappeared!.
This hotel is neat & clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious (and yes we were in 1 room with 2 queen beds and a pullout for the whole time) and the beds were just the best to fall into at the end of everyday. (Pullout was small but perfect for 4 year old.)
We were on level 8 facing the freeway not the park but the freeway noise didnt worry us its just a contant noise like a fridge running and we were so exhausted at the end of each day we slept peacefully in the comfy beds anyway. The balcony also allows you to walk around to the front to watch the fireworks everynight too.
Lots of food places nearby, who will deliver to your door and MacDonalds is just at the front. Although it is almost the last hotel on the block from the entrance of DL, it is still only a short walk (500 metres) and a great opportunity to see all the shops, restaurants and hotels along the way. We even came back to the hotel to get changed into warmer clothes, ate tea at a restaurant and went back to DL all within an hour or so.
Kids loved to pool too and we are happy to recommend this hotel to anyone who travels to DL .

“Excellent Hotel”

We stayed at the Fairfield for 3 nights. Checking in was fast and the staff was very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is enough space, but the bathroom area is a little bit small. The beds are wonderful, with lots and lots of pillows.
We had a room on the first floor, facing the freeway. We never heard any noise and slept wonderfully (maybe because we were sooo tired). We had the luck to find a parking spot near our door.
The pool is fine, very crowded in the afternoon. There was so many people sitting in the hot tub that we couldn’t get near.

We had breakfast at Millie’s (right on the parking lot, very nice), Mimmi’s (next door, also very good. The muffins are delicious!) and IHOP (across the street from Disney. Stay away!!! It´s extremely expensive for what you get).

The walk to the parks is 5 min. (maybe longer at night when you are tired), but manageable with a tired 4 year old.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.
