“Just Okay”

La Quinta Inn and Suites Anaheim/Disneyland

We tried to check in at about 7:30 in the morning since we flew for about six hours from Hawaii. They told us to come back because they didn't have a room available. So we took off to go to Disneyland even though we were all tired, but we didn't mind since we were going to DISNEYLAND. We finally got to check-in later on in the late afternoon. By that time we were all dead tired and needed a nap. We stayed in a Kids Suite for 6 nights. First impression was okay. The room was good enough for a family of four. Our room was spacious and clean but a little run down. The walls and floors is almost paper thin. We could hear our neighbors to the sides of us and above us. The room below us complained numerously about the kids running around.??Which did not make any sense since I have two big boys, who were eating their dinners when they so called was running around in the room. One of the front desk persons did not believe us when we told him that our kids are not making any noise. But the following night when the room below us complained again, another front desk person called us about the complaint and told us not to worry about it anymore. Which made us feel a little better since we weren't about to tippy toe around the room that we paid to be in. We didn't get anymore complaints after that. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good considering it was a continental breakfast. They served eggs, biscuits, doughnuts, pastries, waffles, fruit, cereal, juices and hot beverages. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked very refreshing.

The best thing about this hotel was that it is very clean. The bad thing is the paper thin walls and floors. All in all the hotel was okay. I would probably stay at another hotel next time.

“A Great place to stay for visiting Disneyland”

La Quinta Inn and Suites Anaheim/Disneyland

Stayed here recently whilst visiting Disneyland and had a wonderful stay. The room was divided into 2 seperate areas. First area was room entry, bedroom, bathroom and TV. Second area was fold away sofa bed, desk with free internet access, fridge, microwave and 2nd TV. This would be great for a family with kids. We didn't have any kids with us but still found it great as if one of us wanted an early night then the other could use the internet or watch TV without disturbing the other.

The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to Disneyland which isn't that far but if you take into account you'll do alot of walking whilst at the park then you should make use of the shuttle bus service that departs every 20 mins from just behind the hotel. You can buy tickets for it at hotel reception with daily unlimited use for $3.00. This is a good option as you can easily take a break from the park and head back to the hotel for a rest and freshen up.

We found the hotel satisfied all our needs. Very comfortable bed and pillows. You'll also appreciate the soft carpet under foot when you kick off your shoes after returning from a full day and night at Disneyland. There is also a selection of shops like a 7/11, liquor shops, take-away and restaurants all within easy walking distance from the hotel. We found the microwave and fridge in the room to be very handy.

Cosnidering there were alot of noisy children staying at the hotel, once in the room we never heard any noise. The breakfast was basic but was sufficient to get the day started - cereal, toast juice, pastries, tea and coffee (American coffee was awful everywhere we went)

If I visit Disneyland again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

“good family hotel”

we are a family from australia and this was our first holiday out of australia and the stay was perfect we have 4 children ages 10,7,1,3 and they made a lot of noise and no one complained it was really good the staff were very pleasant and didnt annoy us at all. the only thing that was not the best is the hotel maids couldnt understand when you asked them something as a lot of them are mexican i think if they could speak a bit better english it would be alot easier for all of us. but they were friendly though and the rooms were clean but the bathrroms could have been a bit bigger and there was no benchs to put anything on and there could have been a toaster in the room and a kettle there was only a coffee maker. but we are going back to anaheim next year in feb and will be staying at la quinta inn and suites again it was a good place and the gift shop on the 4th floor very friendly man working in there and really cheap check it out. when you are in anaheim in go and check out viva hollywood you can get some cheap souveniers there and the man who owns it is lovely and friendly

    • Liked — the hotels atmosphere and the staff and gift shop
    • Disliked — no toaster in the room, no kettle and bathroom to small and no benchs in there or sink

“Back for the second time, and I love LaQuinta!”

I have previously stayed here at the LaQuinta last year for 3 days when I went to Disneyland with my family. I had such a great experience, I came back for a second time. I had 2 days at the Grand Californian, and for the third day we stayed here. Our rooms were ready on time, which was great! The front desk people were very nice and helpful. I got a kids suite, which was excellent for the kids, and I also got a 2 bed with a sleeper for the other room. The price was pretty good, and the rooms were clean. The housekeeping gal was super helpful and sweet. A lot of people complain of how old the hotel looks, but I don't see it. It's not glamorous, but it's nice. They actually have one of the best breakfast selections I have even seen. I would tell anyone who is trying to find great rooms, for a good price to go here. Don't be fooled by the other reviews on here! We will be back LaQuinta!
