Business serviceEven though I booked the room back in March on Hotwire for my June stay, when I confirmed my reservation and requested nonsmoking a couple days before my stay, the front desk person said they would "try" to get me a nonsmoking room but they didn't know who might be extending their stay and availability of nonsmoking rooms was unknown. I had to work that day then drove up, so when I arrived at 9:30 PM they had ONE room left (really?) and they said it was smoking, take it or leave it, it didn't matter how long ago I made my reservation.
Fortunately I only stayed one night as my other hotel (Hyatt Regency) was booked that particular night. Stale smoke odor hit me as I opened the door, and the odor saturated into everything in the room. The carpet was filthy with many cigarette burns. The kitchen counter was covered in yellow stains and had bits of crumbs left on it. After having been there only five minutes I left for dinner and could already smell that the smoke had penetrated into my clothes.
When I returned and turned on the TV all the channels were just static. I investigated and found that the cable wire had been pulled out of the TV. When I tried to reconnect it it wouldn't attach. I balanced it so the wire made contact and was able to get a fuzzy picture on some channels after that.
I couldn't wait to leave that place. At least the windows opened so I could get a little bit of fresh air into the room.
I only paid $50 for the room on Hotwire. If I had been able to get a nonsmoking room the experience would have been a bit better, but the front desk really didn't care to try to accommodate me in that way. Good thing I'm not asthmatic or allergic. There are dozens of hotels to choose from in the area. I would recommend staying anywhere else.

ServiceThis is the hotel with the best price in town during the peak time. Our stay was good. We got what we needed for the price plus full kitchen appliances to use. If you don't use the internet, let them know up front so they wont charge you. You can also ask for more towels, shampoo, dish detergent, etc...at front desk. It was hard to locate it at first because it was behind La Quinta hotel and there were also a few other ExtendedStay hotels near by that you can confuse them with this one. We came here for Disneyland and other funs so we did not stay long in the room. Other hotels around may be a bit better but they charge a lot more and they also give you hard time if you stay more than 4 people in a room. If you look for a budget vacation, this hotel is where you should start.

Business serviceGot this hotel for $45 a night through Priceline and it was well worth the money. Liked the hotel because it has a kitcken so you dont have to eat out and it is 15-20 minutes walk down to the Big A where the Angels play. Would definately stay here again.
G Man
My wife, 3 year old son and I stayed 4 nights (3/21/07-3/24/07) for a visit to Disneyland. We choose the hotel because of the price, the fact it included a kitchenette with frig (for snacks and beverages), and the reviews on this web site were favorable. We found our room to be clean. I would stay again, unless I found a good deal somewhere else. The concept of this hotel is not to have be a full service hotel. I needed to go down to the front desk to get extra toliet paper, a free sample of dishwashing soap, extra key, and things like that. You need to dispose of your own garbage during your stay. They sell ART (Anaheim Resort Tranportation) bus tickets at the hotel and the bus stop is about 100 ft from the door. It was a nice affordable way to get to and from Disneyland. Room includes an iron but no hair dryer. No fan in the bathroom. Kitchenette iIncludes basic kitchen supplies, frig, microwave, small sink, 2 burner stove. In hotel laundry facilites worked great and were only a dollar per wash and a dollar per dry.
The hotel staff could have been more customer service oriented. e.g., as another reviewer said they do not provide daily service and I witnessed another person try to exchange their towels for new ones and the custodial person that was pitching in at the front desk said they didn't have any towels and she would need to return in 20 minutes. The customer decided not to exchange her towels and she wanted to take a shower when she got back to the room.
