restaurant in house
tours right from the pier
variety of water sports right from the pier
convenient stores within walking distance
nice reasonable store named Blu right across the street for slippers, beach toys, souveneirs etc.
great internet center within a 2 min walk

Cons:
no wireless access
water sports from the pier
(gets in your way when swimming esp with children)

As a family of 5, we chose the apartment/suite. The view from there is exquisite. The other rooms seemed to have a good view as well but from that second floor, it's just breathtaking.

We went for New Year's and a few days onward. the party was great, music was great and lots of people... but had to tolerate the noise after we got tired. :-( We were warned anyway.

BUT... I'd do it again in heartbeat. Had a terrific stay with great service.

The Holiday Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the location is awesome. Right on the beach! We were provided with fresh drinking water every day. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, beach towels, refrigerators, and televisions. A restaurant and bar are also located on the premises. This was our first visit to San Pedro and when we go back, we will stay at the Holiday Hotel.

I traveled here with a large group of 11 people, and we had a great experience. I was able to get a hold of Kim, one of the managers, whenever I needed to when I was planning the trip (and they have a US phone number - but they can't pick up initially...but they will immediately call you back).

When we got there, the rooms were well A/C'ed and clean. We didn't spend that much time in the room, anyway. The bartender, Shelby, was awesome in his food recommendations. He didn't miss. The staff was always responsive. It's also located just to the left of the water taxi pier, which is quite convienient.

I would highly recommend the Holiday Hotel to anyone, especially those on a budget.

If you are on a budget in Belize and still want a beachfront hotel ----HOLIDAY is the place to be!
