We went with Dennis Perez's company instead of using the cruise line and we are SO glad we did. Not only was it cheaper, but we were given one on one service (there was only myself and my friend in the entire "tour." We were treated like royalty throughout the tour and didn't even have to paddle ourselves, despite how shallow the river was--Dennis did all of the work. In addition, having a native Belizian take us around taught us a lot about the country and gave us an "insider look" that we would have never gotten otherwise. I recommend Dennis 1,000%!!

I don't normally write reviews and this is the first on TripAdvisor. Just came back from a Carnival cruise and had a wonderful experience and tour with Dennis Perez and his tour company on 5/8. Based on the many positive comments, I decided to book a Cave tubing tour and bypass the throngs of people who booked a tour through the Cruise line. It was the best decision I could have made. Dennis was attentive, prompt, and friendly. He quickly responded to my initial request and followed up with a phone call to finalize details. He sent a confirmation to me via email and provided detailed instructions on where to meet once I got off the ship. He was waiting there even though it took quite a while for us to get a tender boat to shore. Dennis was our tour guide and he did not disappoint. It was awesome to have him escort us through the river and two caves. He gave us the VIP treatment all the way and pulled us through some of the slow areas of the river and around the masses of tour ship groups. I felt sorry for those people who didn't book a tour through Dennis. We didn't have to paddle or lift a finger...How sweet is that! Afterwards, he took us to a local restaurant and had a great lunch and a Cerveza. Don't hesitate to use Dennis on your next cave tubing tour in Belize.

We went in caves in Belize with Dennis Perez' group. Rudi was our guide and he was a fantastic guide and person. He made sure everyone heard all the stories about Belize and had a wonderful adventure. He paid particular attention to my husband who was a little slower than the rest of the group. I recommend this group to everyone but would suggest that they advise people of what to wear on their feet as you have to walk through water and then walk on rocks. There are water shoes for rent at a reasonable price and you basicly can leave all your belonging in their locked van. Again, it was an exciting and wonderful time in Belize and would recommend to everyone.

We just returned from our cruise to Belize where we enjoyed a shore excursion with Dennis at ExploreBellizeCaves.com. This guy has it figured out! Picked us up at the cruise line terminal. He was waiting with our names on his white board. Easy ride in his air conditioned van to the tube/zip site. Our group had nine people in it. We did the zip line first, no waiting. Next we went for cave tubing after the cruise line mega groups had finished. We formed a human chain with our tubes and Dennis and his assistant steered us through the caves with great ease. After that we stopped at Amigo's for lunch. Great local meal with chicken, rice and beans for $5 each. Dennis brought two gallons of rum punch for us to drink. The zip line was very safety oriented with plenty of back ups to make sure nothing went wrong. Everyone was able to do it after a short and detailed explanation of the procedures. Dennis is a professional and we will book with him again on our cruise next year. You can feel at ease with giving him your credit card number over the phone when he calls you and his prices cannot be beat. Two thumbs up for ExploreBelizeCaves.com.
