Booked thru Trip Advisor link to Hotel Club, no problems, except the reservation was in the tour company name, not mine!
Chose the hotel for its elevators, as I am stair challenged. But, no description on any website or booking service indicated there is an entire flight of steps up to the lobby. Hm.
Basic three star room... tired, but, clean. Marginal breakfast, but, good bar for drinks, and reasonably priced. Tour groups from all over the world stream in and out of here each day. This hotel is not a riad, and offers none of the amenities. The staff is pleasant, though.
Otherwise, it's a perfect location for taxis, post office, stores which sell Diet Coke, and proximity to the medina. Stayed there for a week, good value for the money.
Noisy street life at night - the staff say its local young men blaring the radios in their cars. If you are a light sleeper, this may be a problem. I suspect there is a nightclub nearby.
