Dar Silsila and its wonderful proprietor, Jean Patrick, made my stay in Marrakech a joy. What a beautiful place to come "home" to every night and wake up to every morning. I stayed at this sumptuous riad for a total of a week, consisting of a few days at the start of my trip and a couple of nights at the end. I stayed first in the junior suite, then in a regular room, both of which were very comfortable and soothing. The dinner I had at the riad on the first night was delicious (20 Euro), and breakfast every morning always included very good strong coffee, fresh orange juice and traditional "pancake" like cakes made in their kitchen. As a woman traveling alone, I found Dar Silsila perfect for me. Whenever I needed anything -- internet access, direction on where to go and what to do in Marrakech, tickets to Essaouira, or transport to the airport -- Jean Patrick took care of it. He really knows Morocco and how to help the weary traveler. The decor in this riad is inspiring. Jean Patrick's staff are very helpful, and most speak English. I give this riad the highest recommendation.
