Location, Service, Food and Rooms top marks!

Very impressed, As an example of their service, i was up late but they offered and served my breakfast at 14:30.

I mentioned the Wifi was not working perfectly and they had a technician here in less that an hour.

Located in the Medina, but perfect central location for new and old cities.

Owners really go out of way to help, i am still here now and do not want to leave. Ah maybe a couple more days ;)

They deserve there Hidden Gem award!

I can only agree with the reviews already written abou Riad El Mansour. The location is perfect, the service inside the hotel is great and the rooms are very comfortable, but they really should be more selective of the tour guides they use; the guide they arranged for us was more interested in showing us carpet and antique shops rather than the monuments and sites we were interested in (I'm sure he's getting commisions from the shops). We lost almost one day of the two full days we had in Marrakech being drugged from one shop to another.

“An Oasis”

Riad El Mansour

What can one say when their expectaions were not only met, but were greatly exceeded! Marrakech is an exciting destination, made more so by the lovely Riad El Mansour. The accomodations were stunning and everything that I expected due to the photos available and the comments posted by other guests who had stayed before us. Both Robert and Steven who own this property were charming and more than accommodating. Whether it was a suggeston on where to eat, shop ,or sightsee, they were spot on! The Medina can be quite dauntiing to get around, but it was never a problem due to great directions and a reliable taxi called for us.I can only say positive things about this riad and heartily will sing its praises for anyone wishing to visit this very exotic and colorful city!

My husband and I first stayed at Riad El Mansor in September of 07 and absolutely loved it! It was a five star experiece from the accomodations and food to the service.

This year we decided we wanted our chilidren to experience the magic of Marrakech and we didn't think twice about where we would stay. We have five kids ages 8-14 so a more Western type of hotel would have been the first thought for most people. We knew their experience would not have been as authentic without the beauty and hospitality that the riad has to offer.

As before Stephen, Robert and staff were so fantastic in helping us with everything before we arrived and when we got there. They even sorted out a large car that could seat all of us for airport transfers and tour to the Berber village. The tour was the highlight of our stay with an amazing guide that felt like part of our family by the end of the day.

We spent two weeks total on our family vacation with time in Prague, Vienna, London, Paris and just three days in Marrakech. We stayed in lovely hotels in all the cities but nothing could compare to Riad El Mansour. All the kids agreed that the time in Marrakech was the best of our entire trip and are already asking when we can go back.

I highly reccomend that your visit to Marrakech include a stay at Riad El Mansour. You will be so comfortable and well cared for. The decor and accomodations are exceptional, and you will fall in love with all the staff. We have traveled lots of places in the world but the riad and the overall Moroccan experience now ranks as our family favourite.

“Stress Free Tranquility Amongst Marrakech's Madness”

Riad El Mansour

5 of 5 stars
Aldermaston, UK
Jul 18, 2008

Based on other TripAdvisor reviews I was pleased to be able to book Riad El Mansour for a long weekend in Marrakech. For that bit of an extra special visit, we stayed in the Riad's suite. Our stay didn't disappoint. Robert and Stephen have created a wonderful bolt-hole in amongst the exciting chaos of Marrakech's Medina. The whole experience was totally stress free thanks to Robert and Stephen's excellent advice on the best restaurants and their booking for us of the chosen restaurants and taxis to get us there and back. Great - we didn't have to do a thing! The Riad's staff are also so friendly and helpful, making you feel that you are the centre of attention. We had a lovely breakfast each day effectively whenever we wanted (usually late in the morning!). We were also picked up and retruned to the airport by Mustapha who was charming and courteous. He was also our driver for the day on an excurision to the Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains - again, friendly and most helpful (particularly when hunting for an ATM on our retrun to Marrakech). And what's more, Marrakech itself was excellent - everything we thought it would be - a chaotic attack of the senses. Overall, we would love to return to Marrakech sometime in the future and if we do, will not hesitate to return to Riad El Mansour with friends and family. We cannot recommend the Riad, its staff and its owners highly enough.
