“The best hotel I have stayed at in last few years!!”

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

We stayed on the executive floor of the hotel and this was probably the best hotel experience we have had for many years. All the staff were fantastic and only too willing to go that extra bit to help. The girls on the executive floor were especially willing and able to help us on everything we needed. The breakfasts and evening canapes/drinks were especially well done and interesting. The bedrooms were always clean and tidy and little extras from the hotel were appreciated. When we left they even provided little plastic bags for the airport security checks! I would strongly urge you to pay the extra and stay on the executive floor. For a Four Seasons this hotel is also extremely good value for money. We ate in all the restaurants the Italian "Biscotti "really good original food and a very competent and effective manager the same kind of excellent manager is also in the steak restaurant "Madison" again great food this time based on meat/
steaks. The Thai restaurant is OK but not great (maybe bit too westernized food!!). My only complaint the price of wine but there again its the Govt duty not the hotel profits. We staryed for almost 2 weeks having extended from a week. Very relaxing and after a day in the Bangkok heat and humidity it was great to get into their pool and have a few beers or a drink in the lounge. All in all this is the best hotel stay for many years.

“An oasis in Bangkok”

Excellent place. Unfortunately I only stayed one night, but would have loved to be there longer. The staff makes an effort of remembering your name (like in all FS's) and smiles all the time (seemingly genuinly).
Perfect location and excellent food. Very nice rooms with high quality furniture and finishing. Large pool with good service.
Overall much better that Shangri-La, which I believe is massive and less friendly.
I recommend this place for anybody wishing to stay in Bangkok

“Doesn't live up to the usual Four Seasons high standards”

This didn't start well to begin with, it took five phone calls to finally confirm my booking, and then when i phoned up to check the reservation a week before (yes, you got it i didnt trust them!) it turned out that they had ended up with two reservations in my name! The rooms were ok, but nothing special and a little on the small side. i really didnt like the fact that they were located off an open air corridoor, as it gives the mosquittos more chance to get in. On the plus side, the location was good and the concierge were amonst the most friendly and helpful i have ever come accross. The long and short of this review is, don't waste your money staying here, there are far better hotels in Bangkok, my favourites being The Peninsula and The Conrad, both which knock the socks off of this dated and over priced hotel.

  • This TripAdvisor Member:
    • Liked — The location, superdeep bath and generous toiletries.
    • Disliked — Trying to make the reservation in the first place was such hard work. Rooms were disappointing.

“FS Bliss in the middle of Crazyness”

Stayed for three nights at the FS Bangkok at the beginning of a 2 week Thailand holiday. The hotel was a perfect home base for sightseeing, shopping and relaxation. We arrived after a 17 hour direct flight from New York and were taken directly to our room and checked in. The room is a standard Luxury room with all the latest amenities. I would recomend asking for a pool view room as it was very quiet and probally better than facing the skytrain. We imediately had lovely spa treatments (jet lag massages) and relaxed.
If you are expecting a modern, flashy hotel this is not for you. but if you are looking for Four Seasons service and quality this hotel continues that tradition.

“Keep up to it's brand name”

Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights second week of Jan. The overall impression of this hotel is very good.

The spa is absolutely wonderful and the ambience of the place is also very well done.

The location is near sky rail station and within walking distance to the shopping areas.

We stayed in a suite and it was very big in size and the toilet is very well equipped.

The only disappointment was the pool. The outdoor pool was so so and a lot smaller than I expected.

Service through out our stay was professional enough and did keep up with the Four Seasons brand name.

I would certainly stay here the next time I am in Bangkok.
