“the Win is a winner”

We Stayed at the Win for four nights. The rooms were clean and provided all the necessities. The Staff was excellent and most helpful. They allowed us to keep our luggage there when we went to Sapa and return at 5am from the night train and leave our things there until our room was ready. The staff went out of there way to be accommodating and friendly. The location is great, a quiet street and close to everything.

We stayed at the Ritz and Hanoi Elegance, which also lived up to their recommendations and are great places, but felt the Win was best because of location and chill and accommodating staff.
thank you!

“Great Value & Location”

Simple hotel excellent location one block from central lake in Hanoi. Rooms are nothing special, but they're inexpensive and clean. Rooms are quiet and equipped with cable and safe. Located on quiet street with plenty of restaurant options. Service was friendly and attentive - including delivery of coffee to my room at 5am so I could catch early flight. Free, fast internet in lobby. Delightfully surprised.

“Winner”

The Win is in a great location on a small curved street about
1 block West of Hoan Kiem Lake. Wonderful location to walk to many of the major Hanoi sights. We stayed for 5 nights in room #502, after asking to be as "high up as possible" away from street noise. No elevator, and after a full day of walking it was the final two flights up that made me know my feet are middle aged. But, nevermind, the room was spacious with all the amenities. Laundry was done perfectly. We had a great view from floor 5, with our own balcony and banks of windows on streetside. I sleep with earplugs so if there was street noise it wasn't an issue.
One word of caution. Our goal was to have eyeglasses made and we took our prescriptions from home. From Tripadvisor I had a pretty good idea of where we wanted to go. When we asked reception they said those places were not good and directed us to the eyeglass shop owned by the owner of the Win Hotel. My partner ordered a pair of glasses and I held out for the place I originally wanted. When his glasses were delivered, they were completely blurry. At a fraction of the cost I had two pairs made, including a free eye exam at another place and they are very clear.

“Best budget hotel; great rooms, friendly staff, good location in old town”

Great Budget Hotel close to Old town

We stayed in Win Hotel for 4 nights (2 and 2 nights with interruption). Room was no. 502 ($30). Big room with small balcony on highest floor of the hotel. Beds are well and bathroom has a bathtube with shower. All we need. Even a frig and TV and well working aircon. Only there is no lift, but also our 3 year old boy managed to walk the stairs. Breakfast small but restaurants nearby serve a very good breakfast too.
Staff was very nice and helpful and did a very good job and a lot more, like buying a prepaid card for us.
Location is perfect, if you wish to explore the old town. The street is not used too often by cars and even not a street to drive through with hundreds of motorbikes. Also 5 minutes walk to Hoa Kiem lake, to the banks, the water puppet theatre and shopping.

Overall we feeled very well and if we come back to Hanoi, Win Hotel will be our first choice again. Even compared to 5 star Hotel which we had afterwards we felt a lot more like home because its unique, friendly vietnamese staff, good location.

Thanks to the staff agian.

“Good value for money and great staff”

We stayed at the Win Hotel in September for 4 nights in one of the larger room at a cost of $30 per night. We couldn't fault the hotel - the location was great, the rooms clean, the aircon worked well and there is access to the internet in the lobby. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Compared to similar priced hotels in Saigon this really was a 10/10 experience.
