Recently stayed two nights at this hotel as part of a tour. It is located by the "6th Circle", a series of roundabouts where the "1st Circle" is roughly as near you can get to Amman city centre. However, the location was anonymous and we never did had any idea where we really were within the city itself, only vaguely in the western side.
The public areas are quite impressive and well kept. The front desk was rather snooty but all the other staff were friendly and helpful. There are several restaurants, the Italian one probably the best of a mediocre bunch and a large bar with a really dreadful dated Eastern European singing trio. The main restaurant always had a buffet going of which breakfast was the best. However waiting staff appeared a little inexperienced and needed more training in food hygiene - food tongs appeared invisible to them and much food was well handled before reaching the table!
Our bedroom was large but a little tired and was about ready for refurbishment. In contrast, the bathroom was very smart and modern with every amenity you could need for a short stay - they were a little mean with towels however!
The best part of the hotel was the well kept pool area. It is large, well stocked with loungers, tables and chairs. There are plenty of shady spots, a huge outdoor pool and a slighly smaller in door pool. There is a large bar with prompt good service and a life guard constantly on duty. We were there over a weekend and the pool area was busy, mainly with locals who used it as a private club along with the extensive health club facilities.
This is more a business hotel than a tourist hotel but non the less an adequate base for either type of traveller.
