Abu Dhabi is very short of hotel rooms, which is how I came to be staying here for four nights as my preferred options, Le Meridien and the Rotana Beach, were both full. This is a very poor hotel indeed. The public areas as well as the bedrooms are shabby and tired and a great deal of refurbishment is required. The bed linen was worn thin and the mattress was skinny. The food is hopeless -- after two nights when the only edible thing on offer was a club sandwich, I took to taking a taxi to Le Meridian or the Rotana Beach to get a decent meal. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. It's dire. Internet access is in the bedrooms and free -- that's the only positive thing I can find to say about the place.
