“Great Hotel”

Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa

Great hotel - read the other reviews for details, however I have a cou[ple of items to consider before booking. I stayed in a tower room which is considerably more expensive than the other rooms, but I'm not sure it is worth the extra cost. The room includes a daily bottle of wine and breakfast in a VIP area. However, I was hoping for after tea and access to the club bar, but we were denied these luxuries and ended up with only the bottle of wine per day and didn't go to the exclusive breakfast as this was billed as continental only whereas the main breakfast area has an extensive selection. The butler serice was a waste of time!! We just got through to guest services and then they failed to meet our requests and we ended up doing the research ourselves to find an expensive watch and find exclusive bars.
I think that the club rooms may be better value and offer more services, after a bottle of wine in the room is nice but a few beers or wine in a bar area is normally better. The rest of the hotel is excellent and the service second to none, and don't get me wrong the tower room was also of a very high standard, all I'm saying is that maybe the club rooms are the better option, and is the room class I shall book next time I go to Dubai.

This hotel is superb booked last year after reading all the excellent reviews was was not disappointed. I was celebrating my silver wedding anniversary and on arrival was upgraded to a Tower room by Ali who was a credit to the hotel.
The room was fantastic loved all the extras wine ever day, fruit, canapes, chocolates and clean sheets every day pure luxury! On our celebration day champagne, flowers,a cake and card was left in the room as well as a pair of swans and love heart made out of towels. We had a lovely meal in the Prime Rib and again were supplied with champagne it was a lovely evening. We found the food excellent loved the Fusion and buffet was excellent.I could go on for ever but try it for your self and if any one thinks this hotel is not worth its five stars I suggest they spend a week in Bendiorm.

“Nice hotel ...”

Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa

Just got back from a 6 night stay on HB basis. The hotel itself is lovely, staff are very attentive and trip over themselves to make you feel welcome. We stayed in the main part of the hotel, rooms are nice - clean, spacious and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble, if you need an iron/ironing board they'll send it to your room in a nano second or anything else for that matter. Every evening when they turn the room down, they will include an A4 fact sheet containing what's on guide for the next day (events in the hotel etc), temperatures and practical info. No need to take adaptors with you, as they have UK standard plug fittings in every room.
Staying HB means you're well accommodated for on the food front. It's a buffet style service, they rotate cuisine types every evening ... we were going to eat in the other restaurants but didn't bother in the end as the buffet was delicious. And plus the fact we were still recovering from spending a fortune at the Burj on one meal! Food and drinks at the hotel are a bit on the pricey side, 2 drinks and one club sandwich at the poolside bar cost us £27. A bit excessive but hey ho, we were on holiday!
The swimming pools create a relaxing environment to chill out with enough beds for everyone. The gym and spa is more than adequate, definitely try the hamman pools especially the coldest one. A top tip for those who like to laze about the pool, don't buy your water at the poolside bar. Take the bottles from your room and just get ice in a glass from the bar. Why pay when you get it for free anyway?
The only downside would be the amount of construction work going on. You won't notice it at all once inside the hotel, however you would be restricted if you wanted to have a stroll. Not possible at all - definitely need to take a taxi to wherever you want to visit even if it's the sister hotel the Grosvenor which is literally over the road.
All in all, it's a decent hotel.

I booked this hotel after researching the many 5* hotels in the area for a short romantic break for my fiance and I.

We were so excited about going there, until I noticed a warning that said we may experience disruption due to building work behind the hotel. I was very concerned about this and so wrote an e-mail to the Reservation Desk a few days before we were due to arrive. I explained that it was for a special occasion and concerned this may ruin the ambience we were hoping for.To my amazement they replied very promptly and said they would do what they could to move us.

We had paid for a Deluxe Land View Room, but on arrival were upgraded FOC to a Tower Room! We were also given sparkling wine whilst we were checking in and cool face cloths! The Tower Room also came with one free dinner and a bottle of wine every evening in our room. The hotel was actually fully booked that weekend as well, so we were very lucky.

We felt thoroughly spoilt whilst we were there and would definitley go back, The setting was amazing, the views superb and the service, second to none.

We look forward to returning next year.

once again it was a wonderfull experience. i stayed with my husband and we have chosen the tower room again because it is worth the price. i requested a sea view at a high floor and it was wonderful.
the only bad critic will be for the tower reception. we waited till 4 pm to get a room but get our sea view the following day after talking to a supervisor because the staff was not efficient at all.
anyway it remains the best hotel i have ever experienced
