“The "OLD" Hilton”

Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort

Jun 23, 2008

We staid at the Hilton Waterfalls in Sharm for 7 days in March 2008, and thought it was a deacent resort with good facilities. The resort is a bit old, but the staff keep it very clean and tidy. The rooms are very spacious and the air-conditioning made the heat bearable at night. The bed we had was very big, but not very comfortable. Unfortunately we did not realise that the bed-sheets had not been changed throughout our stay until we saw that there was some sand by the foot of the bed! The room came with a spacious balcony overlooking 3 of the 5 pools. The rosert is located around 5min walk from one of the local tourist high streets, and 10min drive from Old town and Narma Bay. We decided to go out and experience Narma Bay and i would strongly recommend you DON'T! The men in Egypt are very rude and disrespectful towards women (even when women are with their partners). Such a shame because we were promised so much by other reviews! The only place we went without being hasseled or harassed into buying anything was a shop located in the local tourist high street. The name of the shop is "Pharoas Bazar" and is located towards the end of the high street. The shop contained many beautiful artifacts, and the owner (Emad - aka Mark) was full of knowledge about all the artifacts (unlike most). I managed to get some beautiful placks which he enscribed for me and at a very good price. After our last visit to the shop the owner made us some Egyptian tea (which was very nice) and started playing the drums for us. I would recomend you visit this shop, and if you want a discount simply mention that you were recommended by "The Albanian Guy".

“Beautiful hotel & surroundings”

Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort

Jun 23, 2008

My partner and i have just got back from a weeks holiday at the hilton waterfalls hotel, we enjoyed it very much!!

First impressions of the hotel are very good the moment you get there the views are amazing, from the top of the hotel you can look down across the waterfalls, the swimming pools and on to the sea.

Our room was very nice all air conditioned, cleaned regularly and we even a tortoise made out of one of our beach towels which i think was cute!

During our stay we spent most of the time at the chillax pool which was a no children pool, it was very clean up here with cushioned sunbeds, hammocks and a in pool bar with our sunbeds saved for us everyday hehehe. We spent a couple of days at the main pool howver the sunbeds were not as nice and the pools were salt water swimming pools which werent to our preference.

I would def reccomend you to go snorkelling off of the jettys as we saw many a big fish more here than we did going on a glass bottom boat! Whilst we were there it also look like they are in the process of extending the beach.

We stayed bed and breakfast which i think was a good choice, at breakfast there was good variety of things to choose from i especially like the fresh made omlettes and the hot waffles!!

If you were to go to half/full board you will be eating in the same area 3 times a day, which i personally would not like. There are other resturaunts on the complex italian, seafood, lebanese and mexican which were all yummy howver i dont think they are included if you are full board but you get a discount.

Any questions i ll be happy to answer, overall i think one of the best places i have stayed!!

“Brilliant Hotel - had everything in a wonderful setting”

Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort

Just got back from a fabulous week in Sharm-El-Sheikh and absolutely loved the Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort.
Had a great view of the pool and the sea from our room. We were in Room 1208 and had asked for a roomview by email
The Staff were numerous and very helpful. Our favourite pool was the Chillax and Mohammed was a star, always reserving a space for us. And loved the swim up bar
The Beach is quite small, but I loved the beds on it, and snorkelling off the end of the jetty was amazing. Many more fish than in Naama Bay.
Drank mostly at Latinos Bar, mainly as the football was shown there every night. Ate at Verdi's Bistro and Seashore Restaurant, both nice food. And the Buffet Breakfast was excellent every morning.
Quite a few Russians and Polish in the hotel, but they were no problem for us. And also a fair amount of English and many other nationalities. A nice mix.
All in all an excellent hotel and the location was perfect for us. A short 10 minute shuttle bus or taxi to the bustle of Naama Bay

“Loved It, Loved it, Loved it,”

Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort

Quite Simply an Amazing Hotel, Amazing View, Amazing Pools and just a great place to stay.

Yes there were lots of Russians who don't quite get the queing thing and are a generally quite abrupt and rude to the staff but hey this just means the staff love english customers so much more.

I wouldn't quite agree it's 5* rooms but the bed was huge, the air con was great and so clean and tidy, a massive plus was this is one of very few hotels you can actually flush the loo roll too.

The food wasn't all that and a little over priced but its a lovely Hilton so you'd expect that really, don't go all inclusive unless you get an amazing deal, get out and about into Old Sharm and Nama Bay its much better and less than half the cost.

The views, pools, spa and Cleo water park they own were all so much great.

Romance, Great Staff and good value for money.

Great on site dive school, manager is Mansoor who could not help enough, they were so flexible and made our week great.

We LOVED IT, and WILL BE BACK 100%

“Excellent Hotel -”

Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort

Just returned from a lovely week at Hilton Waterfalls - met all our requirements entirely, our plan was sun, sea, relax and totally switch off , well we achieve them all - the hotel is high standard but not 5* , however very clean , high customer service levels in all areas, they really cannot do enough. Rooms are large and we had fantastic view 4th Level over pool and on to the Red Sea. Fabulous snorkelling on site at private beach. We had B&B basis and happy with this, They do offer AI service but would have got bored with the food pretty quickly, must say that both the Italian ( Garlic king prawn risotto is excellent) and Lebanese on site are both worth a visit.
The Hilton Waterfalls is ideal if you are looking for a great Hotel in a quite location ( 3-4 miles from Naama)
