We staid at the Hilton Waterfalls in Sharm for 7 days in March 2008, and thought it was a deacent resort with good facilities. The resort is a bit old, but the staff keep it very clean and tidy. The rooms are very spacious and the air-conditioning made the heat bearable at night. The bed we had was very big, but not very comfortable. Unfortunately we did not realise that the bed-sheets had not been changed throughout our stay until we saw that there was some sand by the foot of the bed! The room came with a spacious balcony overlooking 3 of the 5 pools. The rosert is located around 5min walk from one of the local tourist high streets, and 10min drive from Old town and Narma Bay. We decided to go out and experience Narma Bay and i would strongly recommend you DON'T! The men in Egypt are very rude and disrespectful towards women (even when women are with their partners). Such a shame because we were promised so much by other reviews! The only place we went without being hasseled or harassed into buying anything was a shop located in the local tourist high street. The name of the shop is "Pharoas Bazar" and is located towards the end of the high street. The shop contained many beautiful artifacts, and the owner (Emad - aka Mark) was full of knowledge about all the artifacts (unlike most). I managed to get some beautiful placks which he enscribed for me and at a very good price. After our last visit to the shop the owner made us some Egyptian tea (which was very nice) and started playing the drums for us. I would recomend you visit this shop, and if you want a discount simply mention that you were recommended by "The Albanian Guy".
