I knew of the construction going on long before we got there but unfortunately the only room they could give us was on the construction side in the Molokai Wing Suites towards the water end of the building. It was a very nice suite, a front room, one bedroom, two balconies," two" bathrooms and a full kitchen (everything you'd want except the stove). With the glass sliding door's shut you could hardly here the construction going on and even if you had them open it wasn't very loud. We also had a partial ocean view. Anyway we weren't in the room that much, there's so many fun things to do. The pools are very kid friendly and nice for adults also. There's a bar, two hot tubs and a couple of very nice BBQ's. There are 4 or 5 BBQ's on the side of the building we were in. I read some reviews before we went and some said the beach wasn't that great in front of the Marriott but I found it to be just fine. The location is the best with the hole Ka'anapali beach and all the activities you could want and the town of Lahaina only five minutes away by car. There's a Hawaiian guy just to the right under the umbrella that will teach you how to surf ( for a fee) and there's plenty of places to eat and shop, and if you go down all the way to the Black Rock and snorkle you might see the 4 huge turtles that were there. Also the Luau at the Royal Lahaina Resort was great ! although the food was plenty I didn't think it tasted that good. We had a great time and I can't wait to go back,
