“What A Treat”

Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel Philadelphia

What a beautiful place. I booked this last minute through Priceline and got $100/night. The staff was very attentive, knowledgeable about local sights and accomodating. The only problem we encountered was that (for some strange reason), the bathroom door was permanently locked so, if you pulled it shut and no one was inside, you had to call someone to come and open it. We were told to keep a towel on the floor in front of the door to prevent any accidental shuts from outside.

The room was spacious, even huge, by hotel standards (at least the ones we usually stay in). It had a desk and chair, a king sized bed and a sitting area with an easy chair and ottoman. Our 2 yr old does not sleep well in a room with others and the room was large enough to put the crib in a little cubby area in front of the closet where he could not see us.

One important note for anyone travelling with kids- the TV stations they have do not include the typical kid friendly Nick, Disney, MPT, Noggin...This was a very unhappy finding for our 6 year old. The only "kid" station was the Cartoon Network which runs a lot of "older" type of cartoons that are not suited for him. There is; however, 3 different ESPN stations which made his father ECSTATIC.

Nice centrally located hotel. Rooms are nice size, but walls are thin. There was a dog show at hotel. Modern upscale motif with a full range of amenties.

“Awesome place to stay in Philaelphia”

Beautiful building, great room. Comfortable recently updated. It had a huge walk in closet and a huge bathroom. It was located within walking distance of everything in Downtown Philadephia. It was safe to walk around the area even late at night. Lots of pubs and dining areas nearby. A great place to stay and we got it for a great price.

“Right in the center of Philly”

Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel Philadelphia

The Radisson-Warwick is located right in the middle of Philadelphia - it's on 17th right before you pass Locust (I was confused when trying to find it from my car because the address mentions Locust when the valet area is actually on 17th). I enjoyed a spatious king sized sleep number bed, accompanied by an equally spatious room, bathroom, and closet. I was really looking forward to hitting the gym (good assortment of machines and freeweights), but I never got to all that. I was too busy seeing the city! There is always fresh fruit left in the lobby, which was a great thought. Also, just up the street is a fantastic bakery, Miel. Their fresh and day-old pastries were excellent. The only regret I had about staying at the Radisson was that valet parking was an extra $30 a day, but you'll see that if you stay in the center of the city anywhere. Oh, and call ahead for the valet - it does take a few minutes for them to get your car. Factor the price of parking into the equation if you're trying to decide between staying in the city or at the airport! For me, it was worth it. The hotel was close to everything and the quality of the room was great.

“Great location”

This hotel was very nice and clean. I was initially concerned about its location and the distance to the sight seeing areas, but we quickly learned that it was only a short walk away (about 1 mile). We also learned that this was in a great area for walking, shopping, restaurants and bars. I would stay here again and would recommend it.
