I booked this hotel for one night and really did not know what to expect. To my satisfaction the registration and lobby area looked neat and clean. There were chocolate chip cookies on a table in the lobby - pretty good cookies! The staff seemed OK, nothing special.
The room was pleasant and clean although there were some stains on the carpet. Free Internet available in the room, but not wireless - you have to have a networking cable with you, the hotel provides some codes to be able to connect. Bathroom was well lighted with pretty good toiletry. There is refrigerator and microwave oven in the room as well.
I had a king bed and it was comfortable, got a good night sleep. My room was across the elevators and unfortunately there were some not so quiet guests coming out of the elevator from time to time and I could hear them being pretty loud. About 3AM some kid got stuck in the elevator and was pressing the alarm button and calling hysterically for help. By the time I had enough and wanted to check it out, the screaming stopped.
Breakfast in the morning was well presented and fresh. Did not expect to have so much variety including omelets and French toast. Thumbs up to Coco, the lady responsible for the breakfast. There was a workstation connected to the Internet in the breakfast area and a big screen TV.
I will definitely pick this hotel again when I am back in the area. It is about 10 miles NE from downtown, but if you have a car it is well worth it to save on you stay in Atlanta.
