Just finishing my second stay in 2-weeks at the Hampton Inn Northlake. Having been in town for business training, rest and minimal distraction has been key. Found both here. Staff consistantly accomodating and pleasent. Remembered by and easy to establish a rapore with staff. Makes you feel like you have been noticed and are important. Any inquiry or need attended to timely. Good and consistent daily complimentary breakfast of more than toast and pastry. Clean linens and bathrooms daily. Quiet halls, good fitness center, reasonable vending, etc. Free internet access. Location convenient to restaurants and a local mall, easy to get to main freeway. Will book here when ever in area in future.

“great staff + location = great stay”

Hampton Inn Atlanta - Northlake

Our swim team traveled to Atlanta for a swim meet and we were all very pleased with the Hampton Northlake. Last year we stayed at the Marriott Courtyard and it was ridiculously noisy in the early A.M. hours and the staff refused to do anything about it. The Hampton was a welcome, quiet respite with every staff member just as helpful and accomodating as possible. The rooms and lobby were nice, too, but the best part of this hotel is the attentive staff, quiet rooms and great location. You are right across the steet from the Northlake Mall with Macy's et al and the MOST wonderful restaurants. For the best breakfast (although the Inn's is free and pretty decent) DO NOT miss the Crescent Moon Eatery. Wondeful and one visit and you'll know why Bon Appetit recommends it as a top 10 family breakfast restaurtant. There is also a fabulous little family owned Italian place (I forget the name) 1 block away. We will be back next year!

“Great hotel”

I booked this hotel for one night and really did not know what to expect. To my satisfaction the registration and lobby area looked neat and clean. There were chocolate chip cookies on a table in the lobby - pretty good cookies! The staff seemed OK, nothing special.

The room was pleasant and clean although there were some stains on the carpet. Free Internet available in the room, but not wireless - you have to have a networking cable with you, the hotel provides some codes to be able to connect. Bathroom was well lighted with pretty good toiletry. There is refrigerator and microwave oven in the room as well.

I had a king bed and it was comfortable, got a good night sleep. My room was across the elevators and unfortunately there were some not so quiet guests coming out of the elevator from time to time and I could hear them being pretty loud. About 3AM some kid got stuck in the elevator and was pressing the alarm button and calling hysterically for help. By the time I had enough and wanted to check it out, the screaming stopped.

Breakfast in the morning was well presented and fresh. Did not expect to have so much variety including omelets and French toast. Thumbs up to Coco, the lady responsible for the breakfast. There was a workstation connected to the Internet in the breakfast area and a big screen TV.

I will definitely pick this hotel again when I am back in the area. It is about 10 miles NE from downtown, but if you have a car it is well worth it to save on you stay in Atlanta.

I stayed here once a few years ago and thought it was dilapidated, but chose it again this visit due to its location. What a surprise: they've renovated the rooms and it was simply fantastic. Everything new, modern, clean and comfortable. Definitely my new favorite.
