I was very disappointed by my stay here. First of all, there is no room service in the hotel. The restaurants in the hotel are of poor quality, with little in the way of variety or healthy eating options. The hotel charges you for a beach chair or umbrella, which I felt was ridiculous for a beach resort. The bathroom near the pool area was never clean, to the point that I went back into the hotel rather than use it. Nor was the bathroom in the lobby especially clean. The concierge was very unhelpful, and seemed put off by being asked questions. Our room was fine, nothing special. However, it felt a little old. For example, the bathroom was outdated and the tiles were stained with age. Overall the whole place felt a little trashy. I would definitely not stay here again.

We stayed here for a few days before departing on a cruise. The hotel and amenities are great! Nice restaurants, nice pool & beach, good workout facility VERY FRIENDLY STAFF! Mr. Arroyo and his staff did everything possible to make us feel like we were the most important guests there. Carlos the bartender was very nice and Rose in the Salsa Restaurant went out of her way to make our dining experience one to remember. Bananas Ice Cream shop has great salads and sandwiches if you are looking for something lighter than a full meal. Our oceanfront room was spacious and clean. Some reviews did say that the proximity to the airport was a problem with noise. There were a lot of planes during the day but at night we didn't notice anything from our room. We will definitely stay there again when we return to San Juan.

Great Hotel, everything was avaliable in just one place: breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, music, casino, pool, beach, in-store, etc.. The room was very comfortable and pleasant and was attended readily and quick by the maids each morning.
A little above price but we had a very good time. We even got to watch two wonderful weddings in the garden by the pool during the weekend.
The airport was near and so we could watch airplanes departing and airplanes arriving.

The hotel is dated but clean. The staff was fine. Restaurants in the hotel are mediocre but it is fun to watch locals dance in the Salsa bar in the evenings. The beach is better than we experienced at The Intercontinental or El San Juan up the road. However, this hotel is very close to the airport and every twenty to thirty minutes you hear one of the jets take off from the airport. You don't really hear the jets from inside the hotel but definitely while on the beach. Not many restaurants within walking distance and it is a $20-30 cab ride to Old San Juan.
