If you are looking for beach and water sports, Yang Zong Hai tourism resort is the place to be. Yang Zong Hai resort is very easy to get to. It is located next to Shi Lin high way and it is 21 miles from the City.

It is a water-based recreational waterfront playground about 140,000 square meters and 12 square miles of water area. There is a golf course, several villas, natural spring bath, and a shopping center, fitness center. Activities involves, land, water and air. You can do bungee jumping, kayak, surf, water plane, water jet. It is the largest water park in South West China. You can rent most of the stuff or buy swim suits, gargles from many local shops along the beach.

The only down side is there will be a lot of people.

You can get there by bus – Kunming to YiLian line. You can also take mini bus from the Kunming Bus Station or the Kunming North Train Station.
