The fare for a one way bus ride is 1 yuan, which is to be paid to the driver upon boarding.

There are four train stations located throughout the city of Kunming, and from them it is possible to travel throughout most of the country. Certain international locations are also accessible, including Vietnam.
Taxis are a good way of getting around the immediate city of Kunming. Generally, taxis will be waiting outside of major public areas such as the airport, train stations, bus stations, and large hotels, but they can also be easily flagged down all around the city.
