Arlington's nickname is "Fun Central", just based on this you can predict that there are plenty of attractions in the area. For starters, Arlington is located just outside Fort Worth and Dallas which are both full of activities and attractions in case you were to run out in Arlington. But within "Fun Central" you should be fully entertained.
Six Flags Over Texas first opened its doors in 1961 and has been pleasing crowds ever since! The park is home to some of the most thrilling action roller coasters in the wolrd, but also caters to little ones with kiddie rides and children areas. The park is big enough that you may also want to come more than one day.
Aside from the theme park the family may want to watch America's favorite pastime, a game of baseball. Arlington is home to the Major League Rangers baseball team. The game is not all there is to offer as far as baseball, you can also visit the Legends of the Game Museum and walk through the history of the sport and the Rangers team.
On a different note, the Arlington Museum of Art will satisfy cravings for the creative world and features great exhibitions and educational programs.
