An alfajor is... a piece of heaven on earth!  It consists of two round sweet biscuits joined together with dulce de leche (milk jam) and dipped in a milk chocolate bath.

Alfajores HAVANNA (made in Mar del Plata) have been consistently the best throughout the years.  As of late, they can't be found in the USA (which makes them even more special!).  The original chocolate alfajor HAVANNA is still being wrapped in gold foil.  They have added several more flavors and their boutiques now even carry Easter eggs and cookies. 

Chocolate alfajor: A$1,80 each.   They are sold individually or in boxes of 6 or 12.  They freeze very well!

Mini chocolate alfajor (individually wrapped) are sold only in tin boxes of 16.
