            On average, the warmest months of the year are December and January (the peak of the southern hemisphere’s summer).  During these months the daily high temperatures will generally hover around the low to mid 80’s, with 90-degree days considered extremely hot.  The nighttime temperatures during the summer months will drop to the upper 50’s and lower 60’s. 

            The coldest months of the year on average are June and July (the winter season), during which time the daily high temperatures will generally be in the upper 60’s.  The nighttime temperatures will drop into the 30-degree range.  One of the benefits of visiting during the winter months is that it rarely rains. 

            The rainy season is between December and March, with little precipitation falling during the wintertime. 

            The best times to visit are perhaps the spring and fall seasons, during which times the temperatures are comfortable, the precipitation is manageable, and the crowds are minimal.
