Under £25 a head has got to be a good deal for three courses and contrary to popular belief there are restaurants that fill this category in Padstow.
The Estuary, inside the Tregea Hotel in High Street. predominately local fresh fish/shellfish but meat and vegetarian options are also available (£18.50 minimum cover charge) , reasonable selection of good wines at reasonable prices and by the glass. Head Chef is Terry Maguire and 2nd Chef is TBC. Restaurant is open from 6.450pm - 9pm Wednesday to Monday. Closed Tuesdays during the winter months. Booking not always necessary.
Margots, Owner/Head Chef Adrian Oliver has been providing good quality food in his restaurant for a number of years and continues to give value for money. Located in the town centre opposite the post office this restaurant is normally full every night so you are well advised to book. Restaurant is also open for lunches.
Steins Cafe. Booking strongly advised, Evening meals (£19.95 per head for 3 courses). Mainly seafood orientated but steak and vegetarian options are available. Good selection of wines but prices are slightly higher as you might expect.
