At Windward Ave, they have a $5.65 lunch 7 days a week from 11am to 5pm that comes with your choice of entree--orange ginger beef/chicken, sweet n sour, black bean, and about 5 other entree choices--a hot n sour soup or salad, and an egg roll. This is great Chinese, too. Mom n Pop Country Peasant Chinese. NOT American Chinese. They don't serve booze, but there's a liquor store that they can point you to around the corner.

 Also they will make any entree vegetarian or even vegan. Food is hearty and fresh; service is fast and friendly. Seat yourself, casual dining. The chocolate pineapple dessert is to die for: half a pineapple with melted semi-sweet chocolate (first rate!) to dip the chunks in.
