Although it is a small city, Breckenridge takes pride in its many cultural offerings.  Visitors and locals alike enjoy the town's many art galleries, concerts, theatrical performances, and museums.  The Breckenridge Film Festival, held every September, is also a popular cultural event which attracts many film industry notables and visitors. 

The town of Breckenridge also hosts Main Street Performances, an outdoor performance series that takes places every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout the summer months.  Shows in this series include music concerts, theatre, sports, and children's entertainment.
