Geja's, one of the most romantic restaurants in Chicago.
The restaurant is set below ground level. The interior decor has Spanish influences. The tables are small and cozy, some booths separated from others by overhanging red velvet drapes. In fact, the only source of light in the place is probably from candles.
Background music is flamenco performed live on an acoustic guitar by various artists that interchange during the evening.
The cuisine is fondue which usually comes as a four course meal, complete with fruits to be dipped into the melted cheese, marshmallow to be cooked over the fire, and, of course, strawberries in hot chocolate for dessert.
The service is attentive and polite.
The dinner is likely to cost about $$$.
Tip: some tables are too close to each other, so if you really want a private table you should probably ask for a booth.
