If you travel to Quincy, Illinois, most likely you'll see the beautiful architecture, the downtown, the museums, and the river. But what about the kids? There is plenty to do with family in Quincy. Head over to Moorman/Wavering Park to ride paddle boats, practice your swing at the batting cage, fish, enjoy the lake and the playgrounds, and play mini-golf at the brand new miniature golf course.  Or, go to the Quincy Museum. The first floor is restored as the Newcomb-Stillwell house, where you can see beautiful Victorian decor. Check out the Men's room, where there is a polar bear rug, it is very cool, and kids love it. Then, head upstairs to the children's centers. Be sure to visit the dinosaur room. For something for the kids to do on a rainy, cold, or any day, take them to Going Bonkers. It is like a Chuck. E. Cheese's, only larger. There is a huge indoor playground, tons of games and a prize center, and even a parent's room, which is sound-proofed. ( it can get a bit noisy on a busy day.) Kids will have fun at the various events in Quincy throughout the year, like the riverfest. Take the kids to one of the many parks in Quincy.
