Bangor is a city full of incredible events, many to tempt your to plan your stay according strictly to their dates.

One of the city and state's best festivals is the American Folk Festival which takes place in late August. The festival celebrates culture and diversity in every facet possible. Five stages are set up for live music concerts and artistic performances. Food stands line the festivals with delicious treats while the scenery of the waterfront adds its own flavor.

Another great annual event is the International Sea Plane Fly-in which takes place the weekend after Labor Day. Float Plane competitions, a craft fair and a lot of great local food make for a fun event.
