Be sure to stop by Mishmash & Muddle at  443 Idaho St. in Downtown Elko.  They offer new, used and hand-crafted items on consignment! All the proceeds go to charity.  If you are a tourist, then check out Mishmash & Muddle for locally made gifts for your friends and family.  The selection is incredible!  They are a member of the Elko Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Associationll!  Mishmash & Muddle accepts donated items too.  If they are not able to be sold in the Elko shop (due to size or condition), they are taken to the Las Vegas thrift store to raise money for A Lift Up Org (a 501 c(3) Christian-based charity).
