One of the better places to try is Gold Hill Restaurant.  Squeek Steele was playing the piano there and if you are not familiar with her she is Guinness World Record holder for the most songs performed by memory on piano.  The Gold Hill Restaurant/Hotel  is probably the most expensive place to eat but it is the best meal you will get in town.  Filet Mignon is around $30.00, and Blackend Chicken & Pasta $18.00 was the least expensive item on the menu. 

There are always the Casinos to eat at but remember... This is not Reno or Las Vegas, this little town rolls up the sidewalks  around 6:00pm even the casinos close down.  

The Mark Twain stays open 24/7. This is the only casino in Virgina City that does stay open.  There is one Chinese Restaurant called Mandarin Garden that is open 7 days from 11-9:30 and that is the latest place open.
