McCormick's Fish House and Bar is located on Fourth Avenue near the SeaFirst Columbia Center. It is a very old restaurant and has an old classic decor of dark woods and brass. The restaurant is multi-tiered and has several levels on where you can dine at. In addition, there are a myriad of photos of Seattle which are from about 50 to 100 years ago. These photos include the Pike Place market and other places. The location of McCormick's Fish House and Bar used to be Seattle's Oakland Hotel, which was built in 1827.
The menu at McCormick's Fish House is a fresh sheet menu, which esentially means that everyday there will be changes in the menu so that customers can get the freshest seafod possible. Many descriptions are made on how the dish was made as well as where the seafood came from. In addition, sourdough bread and butter are complimentary at McCormick's Fish House, just like other McCormick and Schmicks.
